Disability Health Equity
The End Diagnostic Overshadowing program aims to identify and understand the mechanisms underlying diagnostic overshadowing and develop methods to reduce it. This includes creating algorithms to identify people with disabilities at risk of diagnostic overshadowing or diagnostic errors, and targeted education programs and decision supports for healthcare professionals.
Partnering to Transform Health Outcomes with Persons with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (PATH-PWIDD) is a five-year, grant-funded project to create high-impact and inclusive learning materials to educate healthcare professionals and improve healthcare outcomes for individuals with IDD.
